Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday at Williamsburg Nutrient Removal Wetland

The FOR-sponsored project at William H. Harsha Lake will be celebrated on Thursday as part of the annual banquet of the Clermont Soil & Water Conservation District!

Join the Clermont Soil & Water Conservation District on September 14 as we celebrate our 80th year of conservation activities in the county. This year, the District’s Annual Banquet is being held at Heathfields Farm, 4211 McKeever Pike, Williamsburg, OH 45176, beginning at 5 p.m. Prior to the meeting, District staff will give a tour of a recently-completed nutrient removal wetland along the banks of the East Fork Little Miami River (please watch our website and Facebook page for details).

This year we will have live music, dinner provided by 32Q from Batavia, drinks by Paradise Brewing from Williamsburg, and the Newport Aquarium will be bringing one of its ambassador penguins. At the meeting, two members of the Board of Supervisors will be elected to serve a three year term beginning January 1, 2024. The three candidates for Supervisor are David Anspach, Mark C. Liming and Timothy Rose. Beginning August 16, county residents and landowners can vote in person at the District office in the County Fairgrounds, request an absentee ballot by contacting Connie Miller by email, phone or mail, or in person during the annual meeting.
