Friends of Reservoirs Welcomes Members of the Kansas Community Fisheries Assistance Program

Friends of Reservoirs welcomes 23 members of the Kansas Community Fisheries Assistance Program to the Friends of Reservoirs family. These Kansas communities are interested in improving the habitat quality of their local reservoirs. Friends of Reservoirs hopes to partner with Kansas Wildlife, Parks and Tourism and these local communities to make fishing the best that it can be in these local impoundments. The Reservoir Fisheries Habitat Partnership recently held its annual meeting and selected Friends of Horse Thief Reservoir to receive one of its three Mossback Grants and City of Cherryvale as a recipient of one of five $1,000 cash grants from our Small Grants Program.
