We are thrilled to welcome two new Friends of Reservoirs Chapters!
The first is the Columbia County Rural Development Authority. The reservoir associated with this group is Lake Columbia, a 3,000 surface acre impoundment near Magnolia, Arkansas. The group is concerned about invasive giant salvinia, shoreline erosion, and lack of littoral habitat. They have been working with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission to address these impairments and they are now our partner as well.

The second new FOR Chapter is the Somerset County Sportsmen's League. They have 2700 members who have helped with fish habitat work for the past 25 years. The lakes they have focused on are Youghiogheny Reservoir, Highpoint Lake, Quemahoning Reservoir, and Somerset Lake. They are located 88 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, They work closely with the PA Fish and Boat Commission and are now our official partners too.
